Routing rules

Hi,

I am currently routing my PCB for a TD1204.
The datasheet speak about a " No routing wire area" near the RF pin (39,40,41).

Just to be sure, no wires are admitted under this area but I still have to include my ground plane there?
Or do I have to remove all copper on all layers in this area?

I actually have the same question about the UFL connector that I put on my PCB ( 1688077 @ Farnell )
The datasheet tell about a " Cut Out Prohibition Area". Should I put my ground plane in this area?

I am french that why I want to be sure of the translation of those area.

Thanks for yours confirmation.

Hi,

There is an RF test pad below the TD1208 module in the RF pin (39,40,41)) vicinity, so you should avoid routing signals in this area, but of course a ground plane is OK, and even recommended there.

Same for the Hirose U-FL connector: don't route signals between pins, but put a ground plane instead.
