Search on community board

Hi,
Is it possible to make the search function on this community board less strict?
Because for example it is not possible to search for TD1205 it return:
Maybe there is option in your admin allowing better searching because many time I gotthis issue.

Because for example it is not possible to search for TD1205 it return:

You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards.
Maybe there is option in your admin allowing better searching because many time I gotthis issue.
