Power consumption accelerometer

by Gertjan Wed Sep 30, 2015 12:50 pm

I'm trying to estimate the power consumption of a application on the TD1205. In the datasheet are some Indicative energy requirements tables which i use for the estimation. However i find the accelerometer data very confusing. I would like to know how much energy the accelerometer consumes when its used for a movement interrupt like it is in geologic_fix_move.
The data sheet says: 3D movement detection -- Accelerometer 1Hz, per hour -- 0.004 mAh.
The 1Hz, per hour part confuses me. Is it 1 cycle in a hour? or 1 cycle per second for one hour? both don't make any sence to me.
can you please tell me how it is?
