USB->UART-is possible flash firmware?

by Taf Fri Sep 30, 2016 7:03 am

Is possible to flash TD1205P with UART only?
I haven't EVB for this module.
I tried a lot of UART flashing programs, but nothing works.
When I run TD Loader, then only Synchronizing... is showed (if I do reset before) or "Did not get local ACK". I know, choosed product is TD1205 EVB and I don't have EVB.
Comunication over UART and Putty works fine.
Can anyone help me with first steps with this module/connection?

The EVB is not required for UART firmware upgrade.

If you have the connections right for sending AT commands / receiving responses, you should be fine using the TDLoader.exe. In fact, it will start by sending an ATZ command @ 9600 bps to reset the module, then engage a communication with the bootloader @ 115200 bps. Please make sure to select TD1205 in the drop-down liste for the board model.
