In order to power any EVB board via the EFM32 Programming Tools and enable current measurement vie EnergyAware Profiler you need to :

- Connect a wire from the slider switch bottom-right pin to the shrouded header top-right pin.

- Connect Vmcu to 3V3 via a jumper.

- Slide the switch near the battery holder on the left side (unlike in the picture).

You can then use EnergyAware Profiler (C:\TD\TD_RF_Module_SDK\energymicro\energyAware Profiler) to monitor the current consumption of your EVB!

Here is for example the result of a Sigfox transmission:

Notes:

- After this operation you should not have your EVB powered by the ftdi cable when connected to the EFM32 programming tools so you need to remove the corresponding jumper on your EVB. Nevertheless having the FTDI cable connected (even if not used) will still reduce slightly the current consumption due to some leakage. For really accurate measurement please do not connect the FTDI cable.

- After upgrading a firwmare you will need to reset the board in order to update the current calibration.

SOFT1503 which allows current measurement on the dev board.
